Condominium Law Attorney

Condominium Law – In theory, condominium living makes great economic sense – each unit owner pays for the living space inside of their unit, and shares the expenses of the common elements with the other association members. Each unit owner is a member of the condominium association, which is typically governed by a board of directors. In practice, many issues can arise for unit owners, such as how to deal with a board of directors who refuses to account for what is being done with association funds, why common elements aren’t being maintained, what constitutes a common element, what can be done in the case of an association member who isn’t following the association rules – the list goes on.  There are a variety of remedies available, from procedures outlined in the governing documents, to a lawsuit, which I am happy to discuss with you during a free 30-minute consultation.
